This page features our open registration certification courses and continuing education unit (CEU) workshops.

If you are interested in hosting private training, click here to visit our Private Training page. The certification courses are "exam preparation courses" only and it is understood that the attendee has had some experience (preferably at least 3 months to one year) working and learning on the job in a water or wastewater system under the supervision of an experienced certified operator or has other post secondary, technical learning and skills to prepare them for these condensed courses.​

 

These course are accredited through the Operator Certification Board of Saskatchewan.​If you don't have the ability to register online with a credit card, visit our Schedule Summary page to access our PDF mail-in registration forms. For online purchases, a detailed invoice for your records will be sent within 24 hours after a booking is made.​​

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FALL 2026 :

​Starting with our fall sessions 2026, new course registration deadlines and exam order deadlines and rules apply. 

Full registration for certification prep courses (including student name, student direct email address and course/exam payment) is required a minimum of 8 business days before the course start date (i.e. by Wednesday 5 pm a week-and-a-half before the course start date).

 

No registration accepted after the registration deadline.  

 

If a scheduled examinee misses their exam date, no exam refunds or credit allowed after the registration deadline. Exam refunds and credits are no longer allowed (past registration deadline). These new rules are required due to changes instituted by exam suppliers (Water Professionals International).

Paper exams for open-registration courses in Saskatoon and Regina are no longer available. Only web-based exams are available. ATAP training rooms are equipped with secure laptops for use during the exams.
