Maintenance Management (NEW!)
Service Description
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: This 2-day workshop on maintenance management is highly relevant to water and wastewater operators as it provides essential knowledge and practical tools for effectively sustaining critical infrastructure in their communities. By focusing on asset lifespan, budgeting, and maintenance schedules, the workshop empowers operators to implement proactive strategies that prevent costly breakdowns and extend the life of municipal infrastructure; including water and wastewater systems. It also emphasizes the importance of aligning maintenance timelines with seasonal and operational demands, ensuring reliable service delivery and public health protection. Furthermore, the training supports informed decision-making and long-term planning, contributing to greater self-reliance and more efficient use of limited resources within communities. This workshop includes two days of workshop instruction, classroom materials, and Record of Completion. Prerequisites: none. VENUE: Associated Engineering/ATAP 1922 Parks Street, Regina, SK NOTE: CEU Credit is not granted by the Operator Certification Board of Saskatchewan if the same workshop has been taken more than once in two consecutive renewal periods. Workshop runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
